Composition - Robert Hill

This video was made entirely in After Effects, using clipart from the internet. During the scene the old man is shown from only two angles: one, over his shoulder, looking at the chair which is his goal; and the other angle is a wide view from the side. The side view is continued through almost the whole video, emphasizing his slow, tedious progress towards his chair, while the over-the-shoulder adds a little feeling into his movement--we see what he wants, and he is working steadily towards it. So we want him to reach the chair, after all his struggles to get there, but just before he reaches it the bunny clobbers him. The last shot was a little closer and differently composed: instead of the old man being on a third, where he was in the previous shot, he is in the center, framed by the clock and the chair on which the bunny now sits. The bunny is higher in the frame than the old man, signifying his dominance, and the old man is stuck in between things, indicating he is being controlled by the bunny.
