Camilla Crawford, Kyle Lemperle, Michael White Assignment#4



Apple dominates the world with it's innovative technology, we collaborated to convey an image that shows this. Our target audience is Apple fans who eat, sleep, and breathe Apple products. The power of the Apple logo automatically tells readers who this ad is about. We wanted to show that even when the world is sleeping when the sun is going down, Apple doesn't. Apple products are always at our fingertips. Apple designers are still up working on new ideas or at least dreaming them up in their sleep because they also eat, sleep, and breathe Apple.
Within the composition we used a well balanced landscape image. The background is broken in three separate areas, the blue/orange sky, the actual city and the plain black background at the bottom. We justified the text boxes in such a way that it created a clean-cut edge for the border. The blue and orange section builds trust and is inviting to the target audience, automatically the Apple logo draws the audiences eyes to it. We used a simple font, Helvetica Neue Thin, to convey the clean cut message of Apple. The black background provides a perfectly clear nesting area for our text.
