Assignment #2 "Be Real. Be Genuine."

I decided to use this picture because first of all it is awesome. We took this picture of my 10 month old niece. As I looked at it I felt like there was a suttle message in the image that I wanted to accentuate. I thought about the irony in the caption "Be Real. Be Genuine." and I felt like this would provoke the thought needed to understand the total message of the image which is different for everyone. I felt like black and white was the best way to go to achieve the message that I wanted to transmit. I wanted to keep it simple with the font and the colors. I am pleased with this image and I think my niece will appreciate this when I show it to her during her teenage years.

I commented on:
1- Mary Kate Davidson- Rock Out With Your Socks Out
2-Flames
3- Gabe Mcfadden- Harry Potter
4- Get High
5-Turn off the Tap

  2. Love this pictures. super cute. I don't think I like the words being at the bottom, but maybe that's just me. The color choice is good and the font is nice and readable. good job.

  3. I mostly just love the picture! The font color really gives it a vintage feel and the thickness makes it more fun!

  4. I like how you kept it simple. I also like the color contrast of the picture and the fun feeling it brings out. I think i would have cropped the picture a little different; maybe get rid of some space at the top..
