Assignment #1 Theodore King

This picture I took when I went back to California for winter break. I was driving on the backroads to my fathers house. I usually am speeding when I am on these roads because there is not enough space on the road for the police to hide and catch you speeding. While I was speeding down the road I noticed that the sunset and the clouds looked beautiful. I had to take out my phone and take a quick snap of the nice scene. This picture can represent life because sometimes we are moving at such a quick pace that we forget to appreciate the little things in life like enjoying the sunset. I used color splash on this photo to emphasize the colors of the sky.

I commented on:

Katherine Poulson

Robbie Dorius

Cory Hruska

Keith Hubert

Nathan Pope

  1. Great use of two elements you have different speeds in the photo which contrast with each other nice work having some blurred area and still area

  2. I like the color splash in the sky and the black and white of the road. I love the symbolism of how it may seem like the world is moving so fast, yet nature takes its time creating beauty.

  4. I like the speed you captured. You wear able to capture the colors in the back and clearly show the speed as the road whizzes by.
