Assignment #4 - Sean Dunshee

http://www.foreignfigures.com/

I'm helping my brother's band Foreign Figures with management, marketing, social/web presence etc. They're one of many Provo bands on the rise. They work really hard to make their passion their main priority; not just a hobby. The band has a photographer and artist, so building the website through blogspot has been very easy, thanks to all the professional resources. Just this month band's online presence got them recognized by DevinSupertramp and LanVi productions who asked if they could shoot a free music video for them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1it13ZYGax0
They're playing a show next Friday (April 3) at Gezzo Hall in Provo. Their music and tickets are available on the site.

I commmented on: Cory Hruska, Keriann Roe, Charlotte Duerden, Abby Hobbs, Mary Kate Davidson

  1. I love this web composition. It is minimal and functional (something that a lot of web designers tend to overlook these days). The fonts you chose for this design are particularly creative. Great picture and color scheme overall. I can tell a lot of effort went into this.

  2. This is pretty cool. Did you come up with the typography for the band name too, or just the photo? Cause I really like the font for the band name. And the band name itself haha. The text on the photo itself is a little hard to read but other than that well done sir.

  4. Awesome web page, I really like the feel between the title text and the band logo. Nicely done it is very elementary and subjective in design!

  5. The type on top is a great font, and I love the slight V that was conveyed with the people. very good symmetry

  8. I love the contrast of the black clothes and the red rocks behind them. Also the contrast between the still silent almost dead rocks and the people that are alive. Goes with the tag line 'Come Alive'. clever clever.
