PF flyers are the official shoe of the sandlot movie. I own two pairs and I figured I could do a sandlot call back with my shoes. To show that even though I'm older I still believe pf flyers are the shoes to make "a kid run faster and jump higher". I realize that the font is kind of small but I wanted it to fit comfortably on the shoe. I still think that the words are the main focal point of the picture. The font that I used is called Stencil. I don't have a fascination with the font or anything, I was just looking for a font that had thick lettering. I wish I knew the font they used on their shoe because I would use it, but because I didn't know I chose one I though was kind of similar. I tried to make the shoes look like they were just worn. Like a kid just took them off after running and jumping. I realize that if that were true that the shoes probably would land on top of each other like this, but this was my favorite picture of the ones that I took.

I love how you were able to capture nostalgia in this picture and bring a reminder of simpler times, when all that mattered in life was getting a cool pair of shoes. Nicely done.

ReplyDeleteThe red show is a little bit in the shadow so the black letters are slightly harder to see but very clever idea. I like it. good job.
