For this assignment I decided to create a poster that inspired men to participate in No-Shave November. I created a simple graphic so I didn't draw any attention from the main message with a background that had a bit of texture to emphasize the contrast between the background and the graphic. The font that I used was called "Sunday" I love the way that it looks like a fancy font but with a casual twist. I decided to use the same font throughout the poster to show unity and to tie the whole thing together. I also used only three colors in an attempt to show simplicity. Hopefully this would inspire men to be manlier in the month of November!
I commented on:
1. Samuel Clayton
2. Lincoln Selk
3. Ally Hawkins
4. Natalie Daelemans
5. Lauren Buchanan
I really like the simplicity of this poster and the high contrast used. In a lot of cases, simplicity is very effective. This is definitely the case with your work!
ReplyDeleteI really like this image, mostly because I think its hilarious! At first, I didn't realize is was created to promote anything, but I think that's good because it shares an unforgettable story that reminds most of us of something. I also like the font, it kind of reminds me of a lumberjack which definitely works fort this piece.
ReplyDeleteThe font type really goes well with your image. I love the message of it too, great job!
ReplyDeleteI think the image of the beard and this font look like they are supposed to be paired together. I think you did a great job creating an image that draws people in and sparks curiosity about your cause!
ReplyDeleteI like the humor. The font feels on the lighter side as well. I like how it fits with something so fun like no shave november.
ReplyDeletethe font choice makes this. It's the same feel to the beard image and is attractable to your target audience. nice job!
ReplyDeleteTypeface works very well with the artistic style of the beard.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I l don't like no-shave November, I still think you did an amazing job with this! The piece really shows unity with the style of the font and the simplicity of the graphic and the message you are sharing. The pop of red is really great too. Nice job!
