I went home for the 3-day weekend and tried to take pictures for this assignment. This particular photo was never intended to be used, but my horse was just so intrigued with my camera. After a while I starting thinking about how curiosity seems to diminish with age, and what a tragedy that is. As I was going through the pictures, I saw this one and immediately this quote came to my mind.
I enhanced the colors on photoshop to reflect the vibrance of life curiosity can bring. I chose a font on canva.com called “aileron thin” for the main text. I wanted thin, clean lines for a simplistic feel; however, I also wanted to highlight the bold message with all caps. For the attribution I chose “montserrat hairline” because I wanted an even thinner font to sort of fade into the background and keep the focus on the image and the quote itself.

Great quote, great image, love the color enhancements. I think you picked a great font...super easy to read. I also like that Einstein's name is slightly faded--still there, but I focus more on the horse and how well the image works with the quote.
ReplyDeleteYou chose an awesome picture. I like how even though it's a funny picture of a horse, it still relates to the human experience of curiousity.
ReplyDeleteI love how you chose an animal to convey curiosity. Animals, unlike humans, seem to remain curious their entire lives. They have such pure intentions, and I love how you were able to capture that with this picture. Great job!
ReplyDeletethe typeface is clean and doesn't distract at all from the picture and the meaning in the words. i love how these too things tie together so well!
ReplyDeleteThis picture is so cute and because the horse captures the attention of the viewer so quickly, it was smart of you to keep the font very simple, as to not overwhelm.
ReplyDeleteThat particular quote fits the picture flawlessly in my opinion. It has a personality that I feel goes with the horse. Its very carefree
ReplyDeleteI love the playfulness of the image. Makes me like the horse instantly based on this picture alone.
