First off for some reason the color got distorted when I put this in and I couldn't figure out why! I was doing a spot color color advertisement. I wanted to tell a story through the picture using the subject and the shadow to draw out emotion. With the help of some beautiful lighting and the rule of thirds I was able to create a flow that directs your eye from the face of the subject and ending on the the hashtag. I tried to use the hashtag as a shadow on the wall to mirror the position of the tie.
I commented on:

Great photo, it really catches your attention. One suggestion would be to highlight the entire tie instead of just some of the paisley. Overall, great job.
ReplyDeleteClean, classy, and pleasing to the eye. I like the small pop of color throughout the tie because it adds a nice detail, but isn't over powering.
ReplyDeleteI love this picture! I especially like the shadow in the background, it really adds to the overall picture!
ReplyDeleteThis is sweet - i love the tone of the picture. Maybe the only thing I would have done was slide the text down to be in the bottom left instead of left center. The look is awesome though - well done.
ReplyDeleteGreat contrast with the tie and with the black and white. Gives a good feel for the quality of the tie and what it could look like if I bought one for myself. Great job.
