Abby Hobbs, Final Project: Crandall Historical Printing Museum

For my Final Project I made a brochure for the Crandall Historical Printing Museum on Center Street in Provo.  I took all the photos choosing angles that would capture the original feel of the museum.  After selecting a few that I wanted to use I edited them, changing the contrast, saturation, and brightness to make them pop a bit more and make them have a bit warmer feel.   I also used photos I had taken to create a watermark/background.  I wanted the pictures to be the emphasis of my layout to show what the museum is like. I chose typefaces that represent an old-fashioned feel.  Some of the text I took directly from the museum's website and some I created on my own.  Overall, I was hoping to present a modern portrayal of old-fashioned scenes that would help increase awareness of the amazing printing museum!

  1. Creative idea! I kind of lose the text in places, but overall I love the composition and thought you put into this!
