For the final project, I created a video on Final Cut and a logo on Photoshop and Illustrator. I enjoy making videos, but I am still new to using the Final Cut program. I did color correction for the video clips and I added some filters to brighten everything up. If you didn't notice in my video, I edited the clips so that everything would be reversed. Lastly, my logo at the end was its own project. It ended looking really simple, but I spent a lot of time on Photoshop and Illustrator playing with different ideas. I learned how to use mask clippings on Illustrator and I practiced layer manipulation on Photoshop.
I feel that all of my assignments represented a distinct divergent of what is represented at BYU. While it is true that my projects didn't win the admiration of everyone, I created everything with purpose. Professor Callahan advised us to create good content for our portfolio, and my portfolio is not catered to the mainstream. I know which creative agencies that I want to work with, and my original ideas will be recognized by them.

My favorite effect is how you layered the people in the background to walk backwards. Thats sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love the part at 0:08, I thought the kids were part of your choreography!
ReplyDeleteExcellent music choice. You couldn't have chosen a better building either.

That's awesome! Using two different speeds is just awesome. I like how you're moving quickly but the background people are moving slowly and backwards a great contrast
