Dark Snow Angel



This photo was taken up Provo Canyon. I liked the contrast of the snowy trees against the black coat. I placed my sister in the right of the picture as a principle of thirds, behind her there is a stream emerging reflecting the sun. The brightness of the snow centralizes the photo around the dark subject. The mood of this photo is peaceful; the subject is gazing down at a plant and inviting the viewer to partake in the winter wonderland behind her.
