Captured Joy

This photo is designed to naturally capture joy and allow the viewer to imagine what is happening on the other side that is making them laugh. The viewer is able to create their own story. I used the rule of thirds to create balance for the eye. I sharpened the image, increased saturation, and enhanced the lighting to influence where the eye is drawn.
I like keeping the image as organic as possible to convey a natural message as if the viewer knew the couple or was there in person.

  1. You're right! My eye was instantly drawn to their faces, I really like the use of texture you had with the stairs/ wall.

  4. You captured a really cool moment, they look super happy and I'm sure that's what you wanted the viewer of the photo to take away from it.

  5. I like how there are horizontal lines in the background and their eyes are also looking horizontally.
