Ryan Cummings - Assignment #3. 9/11

I took this photo when I visited New York with my wife's family this past May.  This is one of the two wells (if you want to call it that) where the World Trade Centers once stood.  In the background you see the new World Trade Center.  I stuck with the original blue color of the World Trade Center, and matched that same blue with the text of the date.  I went with two colors that matched in a triad color scheme and used green to complement the blue from the building.  The reason I chose these colors is because both blue and green are colors that are meaningful when given the context of the events that transpired; blue represents love and tranquility, and green represents rebirth and healing.  Those themes perfectly describe our nation's sentiments after the 9/11 attacks.
