Fashion changes every year. In order to stay trendy, one needs to be on top of the new colors and pieces of clothing that will be fashionable next season.
However, those who follow trends, also know that some styles and colors will eventually come back. Fashion is something that renews itself every year, but not necessarily changes into something new.
Having this on mind, I looked for a model that could represent well enough the 90s, and what could be better than the actors and actresses of Friends?

I took the picture and changed the colors of their clothing, so they could match the scheme color I chose, which happened to be very similar to the scheme colors for this Fall 2014.
Pinks, purples, greens, yellows and blues were once fashionable..... and are back this year.
It's crazy how just changing the colors throws off what year you think I photo is from. Surprisingly, the color change does give it a more "updated" look.

ReplyDeleteI loved the concept of this entry. Merely changing the color scheme of the character's clothing dramatically changed the outdated fashion.
