Assignment #1 - James Birdsall - Look Up

This photo is meant to depict the hope that a temple brings to my life. For me, the temple is what brings me the most hope that one day I'll see my Heavenly Father again. I wanted to capture what happens when we look at the temple spires. The spires draw our eyes heavenward. In a way, I was capturing both of God's homes, the temple and the heavens. The deep blue sky is peaceful and the position of the sun makes the temple emanate light.

  2. It reminds me of the talk given by Carl B. Cook called "It's Better to Look Up." He talks about the benefits of thinking optimistically and refers to the example of Thomas S. Monson. Thanks, great picture.
