Assignment #3 - James Birdsall - Burning Memories

In this image I used harmonious hexadecimal colors (nice ring to it!) to emphasize the fire that is consuming the memory box. The predominately orange photo pulls in two directions: it is destructive and yet hopeful. Orange inspires us to look forward to the future and hope for better things. So although the subject is sad, it also has a sense of confidence. I used various shades of orange because I wanted this picture dark to keep with the mood of the theme.

I commented on Lindsey Peterson, Lexi Erickson, Colton Fullmer, Brandon Henson, Hannah Childs

Assignment Three -- Madison Houghton -- Primary Color

For the color project, I decided to create small little "info graphics" about the primary colors. Each page includes a color, some words that describe that color, and a few different shades/tones/tints of that color. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but I still like it!

Ps -- I commented on Ashlyn Allred, Lexi Erickson, Nathan Scovill, Jessica Smith, and Brett Bertola.
