Final Project- Tyler Shaw (NBA Playoffs Promo 2015)





For my final project, I decided to make a promotional video for this year's NBA Playoffs. I took several highlights and memorable moments from each of the 16 playoff teams this season. I edited the footage to music to make a dramatic effect. I also created a few visuals at the end. I put a filter on the videos to have a movie-like effect. I focused on the composition of the video, and how it flows to tell a story. I also incorporated typography at the end with my visuals.

I do realize that we won't figure out the complete playoff standings until Wednesday night, but this project is due before then, so I used my best judgement. For the most part, these are the teams that will compete in this year's playoffs, there just may be a couple that change by Wednesday.

    Love it! It started out slow, which got me impatient, but when the music picked up that's when all the highlights got quicker and more intense. Cool
