GLORY, GLORY. MAN UNITED - Michael White Project #3

This is a photo from my favorite soccer team in England. The reason why I chose to do the photo like this is because I have seen many photos done in all neutral colors and one hue standing out, but I have never done this myself in photoshop. Manchester United is known as "The Reds" or "The Red Devils." By  making everything black, white, and grey and having the red stand out, makes an emphasis on the team color which shows the passion and determination of the players. In the text at the bottom, I chose to give the hue of red a shade in order to make it stand out above the rest of the red.

I commented on:

Kyle Lemperle
Sean Dunshee
Porter Chelson
Cameron Moon
Camilla Crawford

  2. Cool photo. You know it would actually help the colors stand out better if the crown and everything else was black and white too, and only the players' jerseys were red. Right now it's all kind of red so there's not really a focus on anything

  3. The red really provides a great contrast to the black, white and gray. I agree with the above comment, but it may also help to keep it as is to show the importance of the crowd in a soccer game.

  4. I really like how you made all of the Man chester united players red and the other players darker. The contrast is really cool.
