Growing up in Pennsylvania, the Washington D.C Temple is the closet temple to me. My parents were married in this temple and we have several photos of it hanging in our house. When I sang the song "I love to see the temple" in primary, I always pictured that this was the temple I would enter and make covenants with my Father in Heaven. When I was 12 years old I took my first baptism trip and I was amazed by its beauty even at a young age. I cannot wait until the day I can get married in this temple and follow in the footsteps of my parents. "I'm going there someday!"
I debated on what font to use and how to color this photo to make the text stand out. I picked Engravers MT font and decided to use a warm color to bring out the colors. I might be bias because this is the temple I grew up with, but I think the Washington D.C. has the most beautiful temple.

I really like what you did to adjust the lighting on this photo. The font is also really fitting with the atmosphere of the temple

ReplyDeleteI really like the vignette effect in this photo, and how it draws the eye right to the temple. The path of the sidewalks also lead the eye right to the temple. I like the font that you used because it's bold but not harsh. I also love the two red flowers sticking up in the middle of the photo, the positioning is so perfect.
ReplyDeleteTo echo Hannah, I think that the vignetting effect really makes this picture pop and you chose a font to match that message. Nice job!
