In a world that likes to point out how backward the Latter-day Saint faith is, I feel that my picture serves as a reminder that women have always shared equally important responsibilities in the work of The Lord. In this picture taken at Temple Square, I tried to capture the ability and talents of two sister missionaries spreading the Gospel message.
My reasoning behind turning this photo into a black and white one comes from a desire of creating a sense of equality between the male and female audience. Because we are all valuable in the eyes of God. There are other important key facts about this picture, but I know my viewers are smart and will point out the other inherent messages within it. I look forward to your comments.

Great job! The lighting is amazing, good call with turning it black and white. The tress are the coolest part.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using black and white I portray equality. Such a powerful reminder.
ReplyDeleteI think this photo is absolutely beautiful. I love what you did with the lack of color to show equality. This is amazing!
