I chose these fonts because of the continuity it created within the theme of the image. I used Sukhumvit Set for the larger words on the side and Minion Pro for the center words. Sukhumvit matches the simplicity and playfulness of the words as Minion Pro adds to the basic intelligence of the message of those words. I used the element of tracking to increase the letter space to desired amount for the Minion Pro words and increased the vertical scale of the Sikhumvit Set words. I color matched from the boy's shirt to add to the continuity. I didn't want the words to be the center of attention as much as I wanted them to contribute to the overall look.
Choosing this quote was fun because it matches what the message is in the image. The image is color corrected in Photoshop to create the desired tone.
Great photo! Also, I am a huge fan Nick Flint. He's probably the greatest person ever.
ReplyDeleteYou know Nick Flint?! How? Agreed - greatest person ever.
DeleteThis is a great photo. There is a lot going on, there is a large picture of Einstein, the guy up front, and the words, but its all very cohesive and attractive to the eye. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThe way you organized the copy was very creative. Also, I like the alignment in this image. Great job.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this is how well the typeface fits with the feel of the photo. The word creativity almost looks like it was painted on the wall too. Also, I love the different sizes in the font that add that extra dynamic to it!
ReplyDeleteI think the image is what makes the poster. Excellent job with the foreground and the picture in back.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and great quote. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteI think it's cool that you have Albert Einstein there. I think it's almost as if he's coming back to approve of the photo.
