Samantha Williams: Tis the Season

I mixed an analogous color scheme (blues and greens) with the complementary color scheme of christmas (reds and greens). I think they mixed well because they had green in common.
I used Helvetica font to simplify the feel because of all the images. I also had the words fall gradually to the bottom right corner because they draw the eye downward to the image of Christ.
The top images I tried to use similar colors and dominate with the red and shiny products to emphasize materialism. With the bottom images I chose to use neautral and warm hues to emphasize love and the living nature of Christ.

  1. Love it! The glasses being held over the word "Focus" really tied the whole thing together for me. It has a very December/Christmas feel due to the color scheme. Great job!

  3. Love this. Gets the message across and i really like what you did with the composition. I like that the presents were contrasted with Christ and his gifts.

  4. This is very timely and that is one of the many reasons why I like it. The use of the glasses was clever.

  7. I love this whole thing. It is such a great idea and message!
I would just maybe change the font with something that stands out a little more, maybe a little more decorative. But I think the word "Focus" is good with the font.
    Great job!
