For the final project I wanted to do something completely different than I had done on any of the other projects! After being with my family over Thanksgiving, I knew I wanted to focus on them and I wanted to create something I could keep for myself! I created a Christmas card picture collage, but I used different techniques I learned in this class to make it unique. The pictures from previous years I kept in the same color scheme so they would all blend together. The Christmas card picture from this year is in color because it is the focal point. In addition, instead of placing it in the center and I placed it using Rule of Thirds because it makes it so much more interesting! I love the way the contrast between the background and colored picture on top creates depth for the collage. I know if I had made this at the beginning of the semester I would have made it so differently because I didn't have the knowledge I do now. I'm happy with the way it turned out and knowing how to create stimulating visuals will help me so much with my career in the future.
I commented on Erin O'Sullivan, Tyler Evenson, Nicole Hale, Ashlyn Allred, and Sam Thorup.
