Final Project - Doug Heath - Character Business Card

I work as Flynn Rider for Character Booking. We send characters to children's parties in and around Provo. While I've done this for nearly a year, I've never created or received my own business cards. I decided that I would create one for this project. I put the picture in Photoshop and color replaced the background with white, giving it the black and white look. I left myself in color in order to make me catch the eye immediately. At the bottom, I created a small block so that I could put the important contact information on the card. I used the font "Apple Chancery" because it has a fairytale feel to it. I made the block blue in order to match my vest and the type white to allow for a proper contrast. I tried to make sure that the colors in this image complimented each other well.

I commented on Stefan Van de Graaff, Ryan Cummings, Taylor Ricks, Courtney Johansson, Morgan Linford

  1. Hey Doug! Nice work, the colors really pop on this. It has a good composition. Also, you really look like him. I knew it before you even said it. I also like the font choice, you're right, it has a very fairy tale feel to it. Good work!

  2. Very nice. I like how sharp the blue is. It makes it stand out. Nice choice on the text, too!

  3. I love that you did a business card and still used design principles to make it unique. I think the font is very fitting as is the colors. Well done!
