I have always been a fan of the color blue. I love BYU blue which is Navy blue. I have always been drawn to clothes, shoes, pictures, etc that are blue, perhaps because I've grown up a huge BYU fan. I love this picture because of all the different blues in it. The analogous color scheme going on in this picture to me creates a sense of passion and pride for BYU. I love how the different blues create a soothing mood and make the BYU flags stand out. I was able create different tints of blue by adding a little gray to create a sense of power. I think blue is a powerful color and to me navy blue is intimidating.

ReplyDeleteI love the monochrome color scheme and that even though blue is considered a cold color, that's not the energy I get from it. There is a sense of pride and empowerment that comes from it. Great job!
