I used an analogous color scheme for this image with the colors green and blue. I decided to leave the main image of the girl natural (not edited) to show her making a choice. I decided not to add any words because I feel something like this can be interpreted for different ideas and reasons. Personally I wanted to relate it to the different choices we have in our lives. Depending on which choice or direction we choose we open the possibilities of different doors. We may exist in one particular career or environment, but there are always different choices we have to make.
The image was edited in photoshop using color tinting and shading (adding blacks and whites) and dropping saturation in certain colors to use only blues and greens.

I really loved all aspects of this photo. The color scheme really accentuated the action of the subject and added to it instead of making it seem like it was overbearing.
ReplyDeleteThis picture has a lot going on, but your excellent choice of color scheme calmed things down and helped me focus on the movement like Mallory pointed out. Very engaging!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I really like the blue and greens. It is very calming. They complement each other really well. Well done!!
ReplyDeleteThis color scheme is great because it's so natural and vibrant. At first glance it could be an unedited image, but then you look and see the deliberate choices made to enhance the photo. It feels effortless.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are very vibrant together and I love the visual!!
ReplyDeleteI love the blues and greens together. Even though the picture is more of a high-energy sort of thing, the water and plants bring a very calm and peaceful feel to help you enjoy the photo even more.
