I decided to make a poster for a Brazilian band that some of my friends down in Brazil love. I chose to use an aquatic color scheme because it fits the bands style and some of their past advertisements have had a similar color scheme. I think the grid in the back helps so people can see who the band is and I lowered the contrast and filter so that it would not detract from the main message. Two fonts are used throughout the piece. Translated into English, this bands name would be Gum with Banana.
I really liked the colors of your ad. Also, the name of that band is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I haven't heard the band so I don't know their sound, but I was wondering if the font goes with their music? I think it's important that font ties in with the sound. If it does -- it's perfect! If it doesn't -- that's the thing I would change.
ReplyDeleteThis looks professionally done which... is all that matters to me. I think this is really well organized, it isn't cluttered and looks like you really worked hard on it. The fonts though different match each other.
