For this assignment I picked this picture of succulents that I really like. I already liked the color blue of them, so I picked a compound color scheme around it. I like the compound color scheme because although I already liked the blue color, there's quite a lot of it, so I wanted to break it up a little. And I just happened to like how the compound colors looked together. I added the diamonds to add some visual differences to the repeating succulents.

I love the use of orange. it pops and lets the other colors stand out.
ReplyDeleteThe compound colors are pleasing to the eye! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI really like this use of the compound colors and this is something I would like to use as decor in a house because it isn't too busy, but it still has a pop of color. Nice!
ReplyDeleteBlue and orange are opposites on the color wheel, so could color choice there. I also like your shape choice because the background is circles, but you brought diamonds in the foreground! Very nice. Also, the majority of this photo is blue which is a cold color, yet it has a warm feel to it as well with the orange and browns you brought into it. Excellent job.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I love the way you found one base color and compounded it. Makes the photo much more dynamic.
ReplyDeleteI like how the colors you added make the picture more visually appealing. Though the design that the flowers make and the design of the diamonds are very different, they combine together well to make one cohesive image.
