I used an analogous color scheme of blue, green and a little bit of yellow for this assignment. I brought out the blue in the sky to create an ombre effect, tinting it as it got closer to the horizon line. I decided to bring out the yellow in the grass as well as in the rocks to make the photo more dynamic. Also, if you mix blue and yellow you get green! So I feel all these colors complement each other nicely. These colors are all found right next, or adjacent, to each other on the color wheel as well. I didn't add any words to this photo because I like how simple it is. The beauty of the scene I feel is already expressed, so a quote isn't necessary. Also, it's part of the mystery of Stonehenge! I leave it up to you to figure out its meaning.

What an interesting way to show your color scheme. Each color gets a clear representation. I like how you enhanced certain colors because it makes the image look much more crisp.
ReplyDeleteone of my all time favorite color schemes, very classic with vibrant colors found in nature.
ReplyDeleteThis picture is very vibrant and awesome. I think the dark green distracts from your design a little bit, but great job.
ReplyDeleteI love the color scheme in this picture! Nice gradient in the sky and beautiful contrast!
ReplyDeleteI always viewed Stonehenge as being this mysterious place because we don't really know what it is. But your color scheme put it into a whole different perspective for me. It gives it a more positive perception in my eyes. Nice!
ReplyDeleteThe color scheme and the picture go perfect together. Nicely done
