So I collect a lot of TV and movie props, and I occasionally will take pictures of them. This is a picture of three props from the TV show "Firefly" and TV movie "Serenity." It features the pistol of Malcolm Reynolds, the show's protagonist, a brown/green coat, and a Chinese poster similar to the ones on the show. I really liked this picture because of its dichotomy and contrasting complementary colors of bright red and and dark green. I also liked the poster, pistol, and coat creating alignment that draws the eye down the barrel of the gun to the corner of the image.

I really like the color scheme on this one. It really caught my attention and it all works well together.
ReplyDeleteI like how the color scheme makes the gun and the gold characters pop. You would think that the red background would overpower the image, but the balance of colors in the color scheme stops that from happening. Firefly is awesome.
