Assignment #2 Eric Slaugh - 100% You

Over the summer, I had several opportunities to volunteer at the Special Olympics.  Working with the athletes in those events was a very eye-opening experience for me.  You could tell each athlete felt the greatest sense of accomplishment whether they finished in first or last in each race because they had given their best, and that was enough.  It made me realize that, while they may have physical or mental handicaps, there is nothing that hinders them from being 100% themselves.

I tried to make the text stand out somewhat and pick a font that looks like text that an award would be written in, although my photoshop skills obviously leave much to be desired. I posted on Austin Page, Sydney Walton, and Sterling Randle's pictures

  4. I love this message and I love the picture. I have volunteered at the Special Olympics a couple different times and I loved my experience. I think this photo captured the excitement that the athletes feel and I think the quote goes great with the picture.
