Assignment 1 - Spencer Evans: The End of Summer

There isn't a sight as gloomy as an empty water park at the end of Summer. It serves as a reminder of all the fun times that we had: the warm weather, the sunny days. But it also reminds us that those days are no more. It stands there as the seasons change, teasing us. It makes us already anxious for the next Summer, even when it's still so far away. I took this picture up at Seven Peaks. So long, Summer.

  1. This is very timely because of the weather right now. I feel like Fall has hit us fast.

  2. I think you editing is pretty good in this photo. Just the photo alone probably wouldn't have conveyed the emotion that you were trying to make known but the saturation drop gave it the gloomy, lonely look that you were going for. I think it turned out great yo.

  3. I love the gloomy feel over this photo. The sun is gone along with all light as summer is gone. What a great photo

  4. This photo makes me feel depressed, but I guess that is because the end of summer is depressing. I love how the blurry focus makes it seem like summer is just a faded memory now.
