Green is definitely my most
favorite color so I wanted to do a picture with a green color scheme. At first
I was curious as to what the color scheme of the American dollar bill was, and
found out that it is based off a monochromatic green scheme. So that is what I
used as a map and then I created my own theme by changing some of the greens in
the photo, but still keeping a monochromatic scheme. To make the point that money was the theme of my scheme, I wanted to
emphasize the color of the dollar bills. I focused only on the bills creating
an almost 3D effect. Then in the background you can see me unfocused with the
darker green football jersey on, and then the wall is also colored a certain
gray-green (the faded green block next to the center block in the color scheme) to match the hue in my scheme. Just call me Ca$h Clayton….BOOM!
I Commented on the following color projects:
Shauna Holdaway - Burano
Lindsay Combs - Color Assignment
Kyle Lemperle - Madeira
Porter Chelson - Idahome
Keith Hubert - Simply Skinny

ReplyDeleteI really like how sharp the bills look in contrast to the blurred background. It really emphasizes the message of "Money money money!" ha ha.
