I redesigned local running store Run Gr8's logo. I used high-contrasting colors to create a bold, memorable logo. Black and white are complementary "colors", and red is a strong accent color to the B&W combination. The red hue is shaded to create a deeper tone. The black lines play with white space and contrast well with the white. The white letters within the red rectangle unite the white spaces from the lower portion of the logo to the upper part.
