Rocket Man is a comic superhero character created by my roommate. The Rocket Man comics is a series that he and I have been discussing and slowly developing for some time, and for this assignment I decided to create a simple logo for it. I thought that for a comic superhero, a complimentary color scheme would be effective. The character Rocket Man is bold and dynamic, thus the red; but he also tries to avoid conflict, preferring a private life away from fighting, suggested by the muted gray. I added some grain (kinda clumsily because I'm not that good at Photoshop) due to the gritty, harsh tone of the stories.
