Logo Assignment-Kaushay Colvin

So for the logo assignment, I decided to create a logo for my younger sister. She loves sewing and wants to start her own "high school sewing business". The logo would probably be the face of a business card or something with the "SW" standing for "Sew What"
I chose the color scheme by picking her favorite color (the dark purple) and then using a complimentary color scheme from that. I used several of the colors from the scheme just as they are, and made one of them more opaque. The image as a whole was created in Photoshop.
I felt purple was a fitting base color because it represents nobility and independence which are both things she wants to portray in the sewing that she does.
