When I was trying to concept for my logo, I first tried to think of words that I felt described myself, so I could find colors that gave off that meaning. The words I thought of were insane and unconventional. I feel like I am just a little different from other people, so I chose a bright orange color to represent my personality. It does this because orange is a striking color and often unexpected. I also chose an electric blue color in my color scheme, because it is complementary to the orange and is also rather eye-catching. The words I used, "A-Freh (A-Fray)," are a shortened version of my name that some friends made up when they could not properly pronounce my last name. Over the years, old friends have said it around new ones and the name has just stuck. The contrast in letter proportion also adds to the theme of difference and so I think this logo is an accurate representation of me as a person.
