Twitter Branding, Advertising, #whatcoloristhistext
I have been reading a lot about Andy Warhol lately. His "Pop Art" is something I find heavily fascinating due to its unique color palette. Warhol's illustrations are timeless and I attribute his success to the fact that he chose vibrant yet basic colors for his art.
Nevertheless, my goal for this assignment wasn't to copy him, but rather find my own color palette. In addition, I wanted to push myself to create a unique "3D" text design out of flat text. I accomplished this look by cloning and displacing the letters (the effect is called RGB Displacement). I had so much fun with this assignment because it reminded me the power of the basic colors.
I intend to use this logo for a trendy looking Twitter PR campaign in the future.
PS: If you stare at the "ache" part of the logo, you'll get a #headache
