For this assignment I took a picture of my boyfriend long boarding. I wanted to emphasize "cool" colors like blue, gray, and white. I felt that these colors portrayed a feeling of relaxation and serenity. I decided to increase the shadows, increase the exposure, and increase the whites. I felt that all of these changes created a more dynamic color scheme.

ReplyDeleteSo cool!! I love the colors in the sky and the shaping of the blue at the top. It correlates super well with the jeans.
ReplyDeleteThe shadows in this picture work with the actual subject so well! I like the subtle use of the color scheme because it just looks natural. My favorite thing though is the perspective in the photo. The placement of the right leg falls right in the middle of where the two side railings lead. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I love it!
