Color Assignment #3, Rhees Jackson

I took this picture of my wife in Mexico. The Spanish steps were so cool and the setting was just too perfect. I decided to put a filter on it to give the colors a cooler more relaxed feeling. I like the color palette that this brought out. The skin tones along with the darker blues give the chill vibe I was going for.
I commented on: Salt Lake Bees, Brian Mcdonell, Lauren Buchanan, Dillon Olsen, Anna Umstead

  1. The Blue on those stairs look really cool, I think it makes her dress colors stick out more.

  3. I really love the shades of blue in the piece. I have a hard time with the white heart shapes on the dress, I think it would've been a bit more simple and easy to look at if it was just a black dress. But I think its really cool!!

  4. The contrasting patterns in this really work well together. It's kind of busy, but you don't lose the integrity of the girl or her surroundings. I like being able to see all of her and a lot of the stairs. The crop on the left is a little closer to her than the crop on the right, but it's a lovely shot all the same. Great job!

  5. I love the pattern on the stairs, and the colors work great. I like how the blue and pinkish cream color are contrasting, but they aren't so bright that they pop out like a neon color so it looks great
