I was looking through my pictures, and when I saw
this one, I knew it was the one I wanted to use. My favorite thing about this
picture is it is a candid – I was just smiling because I was having fun with my
friends and I was happy. I wanted to share this moment of pure bliss and
happiness, and encourage others to find this joy that I have found simply by
smiling. I wanted to keep it simple, because my message is simple. I’m going
for a vintage Polaroid picture look with this poster. My look for the photo
shoot was 60s style, so I used a filter called “retro” and blurred the picture
a little to make it look more authentic. The font I used is called “Permanent
Marker”, and I used this because I wanted to make it look like handwriting on
an old school Polaroid picture.

The use of the background is a great touch, because you took something that was vintage, but made popular. There is only one word, which really goes with the simple Polaroid feel.

ReplyDeleteAh I love the Polaroid look. Actually you could crop it a little more square, like Polaroid photos but the sharpie font is perfect
