I wanted to take a photo I had taken and change the feel of it completely by using complimentary colors and altering the tints, shades, and tones of the colors and by blending them in the sky. I wanted it to be simple but unique. I used the same Hexadecimal code from what I had created with Kuler for my color base.
I commented on Dania Rice, Hannah Childs, Ashlyn Allred, Sam Thorup, and Dave Rowe.
I like the colors. They definitely change the overall mood of the image. Cropping out the subject's head placed the focus on the colors, (or lack thereof), but made the whole thing a little jarring.
ReplyDeleteLove the way the colors stand out from the shades of grey. The picture is haunting and awesome at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique take on complimentary colors. I like how the lake/trees isn't the focal point--it makes the image unique. Love what you accented and it clearly gets the color scheme across to the viewer.
ReplyDeleteDrastic and dramatic. My attention first goes toward the pants and then the sky, lastly i recognize the wrist band is also colored. could be a great add for pants? anyways its very modern, and unique. love the creativity, it definitely makes me think.
ReplyDeleteSick! I love the color scheme.
ReplyDeleteThis is sweeeet! I don't know what I'm feeling, but the color changes on this create a unique feeling.
ReplyDeleteI like this one a lot. The color scheme stands out and your attention to detail is terrific.
