I am currently putting together a plan for a website/blog that shares the stories that make up peoples life. I created this image to try to capture the purpose of the site. I actually chose a very simple color scheme that wasn't too extreme, but not boring either. I then found a picture I had taken a few months back and slightly altered the colors to match that scheme. I also added text and a frame to bring those colors out even more.

I think the composition of the photo is great. The only color I don't love in the scheme is the maroon and blue. I wonder if you tried playing with hue on the Maroon a little more. I actually like the blue but it competes with the green in shade, maybe adding more
ReplyDeleteBlack would help, or popping the green with more white.
The dichotomy of this image is really strong with the face so close in the foreground and the background being blurred. I also like the contrast between the light blue and the dark burgundy.
