In Brigham Young University approved housing each student is required to be provided a desk. Most would fill the drawers with pens, pencils, books, and papers. This is what I fill mine with. My drawer is filled with makeup products. When I'm confident in my appearance I feel like I can accomplish anything. It may seem trivial and superficial to most, but makeup, if used correctly, can help to enhance one's natural beauty.

  1. Let me know if you ever want to sell your brushes :) I love make up! And I need to get a shallow drawer for all of mine.

  4. It's cool that you showed your love for makeup in a photo. If they could only see your Instagram!

  5. This picture is very relatable and I agree completely with the other comment about the contrast between the cleanliness of the desk and the clutter of the drawer--very visually interesting.

  6. I like the colors in this photo. Despite the messy appearance of the drawer it works thanks to the pencils on the top of the desk. It creates a triangle that helps the eye focus and make sense of the photo.

  7. I like the organized chaos that comes, yet it all still fits together because of the color scheme. It's also extremely relatable.

  8. I like the clutter and color scheme in the drawer, and then the almost too pristine look of the top of the desk. I also thought it was interesting that you hide the things that make you confident in such a jumbled place. It's a very thought-invoking piece.
