Assignment Two: Ashlyn Allred, "Travel"

I took this picture in March or April of my friend Camille when we were in England this Spring.  I enhanced the colors of the photo (before it looked more grey).  Then I typed the quote.  I downloaded a thin, sans serif font that I felt looked best.  I also increased the line spacing from 1 to 1.15.  I tried to align the words evenly into the corner and also made it so the quote was above the subtle horizon line.  I also made the attribution smaller than the other words. 

 I photos I commented belonged to: James Birdsall, Tanner Wadsworth, Collin Gingrich, Jordan Miki Wheeler, & Madison Houghton.

    Love how the words are above the dark space and the author is underneath. Really cool quote and picture too!!

    This is a great quote, and the picture is perfect. They match very well. The font is simple and I like its location. Great image.

    This quote used goes perfect with the picture. Also, I like the girl on the side of the picture. She makes it more than a pretty view. The girl ties the quote into the picture.

    There's something about the font that works so well with this image. Maybe the thinness of the typeface adds to the quietness of the scene. This font and image go together like peas and carrots. Great job!
