This picture of one of my favorite places in Montana reminded me of an ancient saying, which I don't even remotely understand, but sounds profound. I intentionally reflected the top line of text to make the visual surprising: normally our eyes would expect to see the bottom distorted. I tried to pick a font that would match the pristine feeling of the photo. This is Myriad Pro, which I thought looked good.
Great photo. I like how there is also the reflection of the moon in the water, and the typography is a reflection. Works well together.
ReplyDeleteA. I just have to comment on this because I'm from Montana... 406!!
ReplyDeleteB. I really love the reflection of this and how you flipped the words to match the reflection.
I like the reflection as well. At first I didn't notice the moon reflected until I read the words.
ReplyDeleteI like the symmetry that you create using your type. Using the natural lines in the image is great, also I like the window you create to connect the two moons! It's also a nice rule of thirds example.
